2024 September News Update

This time of year, you can see Humpback Whales, Blue Whales, Dolphins, and Killer Whales off the coast of Monterey. The cost is about $75 per person. The experience will be about 3 hours round trip. Sign up using this link by Wednesday, September 25th. (Please note that if you sign up for the tour using the link above you are committed to purchasing the ticket). If you have any trouble with the Sign-up Genius website, please email me and I will sign you up.

An activity and attractions guide to the Monterey area can be found on the Fall Meeting page, and will be sent in the "Know Before You Go" email tomorrow. There are numerous great options, like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and many walking/hiking trails along the coast accessible from the hotel.

Dine Arounds

Please click here to sign up for dine-arounds. You will also be able to sign up for dine-around reservations at the reception, but know that they fill up quickly. If you are willing to be the dining captain, please make a note in the comment of the sign up. If you are bringing a guest or client, please include them in the count.

Some restaurants have a cancellation policy requiring payment, so if you can commit ahead of time to a reservation, that will be helpful in planning. If you have difficulty with the Sign-Up Genius form, email Hannah with who you would like to sign up, and for which restaurant.

REFERRAL LEADERBOARD UPDATE

The winner of the 2024 Referral Leaderboard will be announced at the Fall Meeting next week!

The new 2025 Referral report and leaderboard has just begun. It's a clean slate, and a chance for your firm to start this next year in the lead! Please send your referrals to Hannah to have your referral recorded.

We are trying to capture as much information as we can about referrals. When possible, please include the type of business/law, the client name and whether or not the referral led to actual business.

Remember: You can still record a referral with us if it did not lead to business. We want to know anytime the SLR Network is in use!
