2) Registration at www.vailrec.com/register will be prioritized according to the following categories:

  • Level 1 Access: Eagle County Student (full-time resident) AND Eagle County workforce
  • Level 2 Access: VRD homeowner OR Eagle County workforce
  • All-Access: Everyone

As we continue to see short supply and high demand for childcare in the Vail Valley, the Community Programming staff made the decision to prioritize registration to support local working parents. These parents rely heavily on our licensed childcare summer day camps, so that they may go to their jobs and provide important services in Vail and beyond.

These priority registration levels DO NOT APPLY for summer sports camps (baseball, volleyball, soccer, track and field, lacrosse, sports training, basketball, cheerleading, flag football, tennis, pickleball, golf, gymnastics and hockey).

3) 2024 Day Camp Registration Dates - vailrec.com/register:

  • Level 1 opens Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. MST
  • Level 2 opens Monday, April 8 at 10 a.m. MST
  • All Access opens Wednesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. MST

4) Documentation Needed for Level 1 or 2 Access (you will upload this when submitting your paperwork; see section 5)

  • If your child is an Eagle County student: Student ID
  • If you work in Vail or in Eagle County: Recent pay statement (from one parent)
  • If you are a VRD homeowner: Have an address with appropriate name on the Eagle County assessor website, or upload documentation showing ownership.
  • Please note: ONE address may be used by ONE nuclear family (if owned by grandparents or an LLC). Fractional ownership does not suffice. Reminder: this is needed only by VRD homeowners who are NOT a part of the Eagle County workforce.

To be ready for registration, first, make sure you have an Amilia account (our registration software) and have all of your family members on your account by visiting www.vailrec.com/register.
