The 2024 Central/Southern Illinois Synod Assembly will be held June 6-8 at the Decatur Conference Center and Hotel. There will be no Zoom session this year.
The festival worship service will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 8, at Central Christian Church in Decatur.
The theme for this year's assembly is "Many Gifts, One Mission," based on 1 Peter 4:10.
The 2024 Synod Assembly will consider the 2025 budget and elections for vice president, synod council, and voting members to the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly.
Additional information, including further action items, nominees, speakers, meals, activities, and forum sessions, will be announced later.
The cost will be finalized in February, and registration will open on March 1.
