Please Join Us
Good morning!
As a fellow member of the football business community, I know you keep up with what’s happening in the game. You’ve probably noticed that Tennessee and Virginia are suing the NCAA. You’ve also seen that the Big Ten and SEC are meeting to discuss how to solve problems previously left to the NCAA, and you’ve seen that several college head coaches have left their jobs to become assistants elsewhere. You’ve also seen with your own eyes how the recruiting landscape has changed. I think it’s time to figure out how to adapt to this new environment and keep yourself afloat during this uncertainty.
Last year, you joined us as we had a very transparent, very honest discussion with members of the top collectives in the game. This year, I thought you needed to hear a different perspective. To that end, I’ve asked my friend Oscar Monnier to join us for this year’s symposium. I'd like to invite you to join us.
Oscar has directed recruiting for the transfer portal at Northwestern, Oregon, Stanford, Duke and, most recently, Texas A&M, and he’s as experienced and knowledgeable about this emerging part of the business as anyone in America. The difference is, he is transitioning out of college football and has no allegiances to anyone. That gives him a unique ability to be transparent about what he’s seen.
Thursday, Feb. 29, in Room 103 of the Indiana Convention Center, from 9-10:30 a.m., I’ll be having a very frank discussion with him about what he’s seen. Oscar will discuss the practices schools would rather you didn’t know about; the behavior and tendencies of today’s top players, both in high school and portal recruiting, as well as their representatives; the outlaws, the bad deals, the tricks of the trade from the college side of things; and, ultimately, how you can profit from knowledge of all of it.
We had limited space last year, and I don’t want you to miss out if you’re interested in joining us. In addition to my interview with Oscar, we’ll be inviting back all the same key players from collectives, search firms, coaching and executive agencies, marketing and NIL agencies and others from around the business. As before, no media will be invited, nothing will be recorded, the doors will be closed, and the only people in the room will be those invested in the business. I think it’s going to be another high-impact event.
We’ll have the same price structure as last year ($100 per person or $400 per agency, with a limit of eight attendees from the same firm). If you’d complete this brief form to let us know your interest, we’ll follow up with billing information. We have room for about a hundred, and it was a full house last year. We anticipate the same this year.
Thanks for your friendship and support. I look forward to seeing you in Indianapolis.
