PARKING PARADE ROUTE

Parking is available at the following locations:

·        Woodside Presbyterian Church, 1667 Edgewood Rd, Yardley, PA 19067

·        Lower Bucks Masonic Hall, Edgewood Road, Yardley, Pa 19067.

·        Parade participants can also park on Long Acre Road off Edgewood Road.

TOILETRY COLLECTION FOR HOMELESS VETERANS

The Pennsbury Education Association, in partnership with Lower Makefield Township Parks & Recreation, will be collecting supplies for homeless veterans. Attendees are encouraged to bring items listed on www.lmt.org to benefit homeless veterans through The Perimeter Program of the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service Center (www.vmcenter.org). Donations can be dropped off at the PEA tent on Saturday OR by sending a donation via QR code, available on the Township’s website.

2:00 PM VETERANS CEREMONY AND FLYOVER

This year we are excited to announce that Lower Makefield Township will have a flyover around 2:00 p.m. between the Veteran’s parade and the Veteran’s ceremony which will be located at Veteran’s Square. Our flyover will be a Single C-17 Globemaster III from the 732d Airlift Squadron, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, NJ.  

The commemorative ceremony will honor the 2024 Parade Marshal, John Hughes, and celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Veterans Square Monument. Musical performances will feature the Pennsbury Community Choir and the Pennsbury Marching Band.
