INSURANCE INFORMATION
INSURANCE COSTS
We have been waiting for the insurance costs and finally received them yesterday. We budgeted for insurance based on last year's insurance rates. The amount we budgeted per option is the amount on the rate sheet that we are giving as a discount for no insurance.
On the updated rate sheet we have indicated in red the insurance costs that have increased. Here are the cost changes.
In the 0-59 age category options A ($46), B ($22), E ($27) and F($44) have increased.
Only group A had an increase in the 60-64 ($21) and 65-69 ($35) age category.
We also have some rates for the 70-74 age category.
The rates for the 75-79 year category are pending a medical form being submitted by those in this age bracket.
We will send you the form with your invoice.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
Please review our insurance providers included coverage in the Medical and Cancellation Plan on the TOUR MEMBERS PAGE. You should also review the Allianz Insurance Policy for details about exclusions including exclusions for Covid on pages 22 and 23.
It is incumbent on all passengers to ensure that you understand the insurance policy, what is covered, what is omitted and if you require any additional coverage. Azorcan are not insurance agents and are not qualified to answer specific insurance coverage questions. We provide an option for the best policy we can find for our clients. It is your option to purchase coverage through another provider or to supplement the Allianz policy if you feel it does not meet all of your coverage needs.
DECLINING INSURANCE
If you would like to decline our insurance policy please email paul@azorcan.net the Azorcan Travel Insurance Waiver that is on the TOUR MEMBERS PAGE by Friday the 24th. If you do not advise us and send the waiver by that date then we will assume that you are taking the insurance. Please note that the insurance is non-refundable.
INSURANCE POLICY PAGE
Once we issue all the insurance we will add a sheet on the TOUR MEMBERS PAGE with everyone’s policy number and the emergency contact information. We will include your policy information in your final documents as well.
