The Aperture Portfolio Prize aims to identify trends in contemporary photography and highlight artists whose work deserves greater recognition. The Aperture Portfolio Prize is open exclusively to Aperture magazine print subscribers. Applicants can be based anywhere worldwide.
Deadline: January 5, 2024
Prize: Published in Aperture magazine and will receive a $3,000 cash prize, a $1,000 gift card to shop for gear at mpb.com, and an exhibition organized by Aperture in New York City.

Call for Applications: Leah Ryan Fund
All women, trans, and non-binary playwrights who consider themselves emerging (as distinct from fledgling or mid-career playwrights) are eligible to apply for The Leah. Playwrights from all over the world are encouraged to apply, but the play must be written in English. Eligibility does not require that a submitted work adhere to the traditional three-act structure. One-acts, two-acts (even four-, five-, six- acts), monologues, adaptations, and any other wild (or deceptively tame) format will be considered with equal seriousness. The only absolute requirement is that the submitted text be a completed full-length work for theater. No musicals will be accepted at this time.

Call for Applications: Anderson Center at Tower View 2024 Deaf Artists Residency Program
The Anderson Center at Tower View’s Deaf Artists Residency (DAR) provides 5 Deaf artists the opportunity to come together to live, work and share ideas in ASL, while advancing their own personal artistic projects. DAR is the only residency opportunity in the world devoted exclusively to Deaf artists. The program was created in 2014 to enact the vision of a Deaf visual artist, Cynthia Weitzel, who designed and leads the program. Deaf Artists Residency is designed for artists who use American Sign Language and/or Protactile as their native or adopted language. All artists and creatives in the Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Late Deafened, and Hard of Hearing community are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be Deaf artists based in the United States of America are eligible to participate.
Application Deadline: January 9, 2024 at 12:00PM ECST
Residency Stipend: $1,400, free housing
