Sunday, November 3 will be our next New Member Sunday. On New Member Sunday those who would like to become members of the congregation are invited to participate in a ceremony during the 10 am worship service during which participants sign the membership book and are welcomed formally by the congregation.

Help with the Thanksgiving Food Drive!! On Sunday November 3rd and Sunday November 10th, we are collecting Thanksgiving "Fixing " foods to distribute to our food pantry families. We are looking for gravy, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, green bean casserole items, and dessert bread mixes.

Worship at UUCW is the product of many voices, hands and hearts. Each Sunday we look forward to hearing from each other about the important happenings in our lives and the world, and our worship experience is made rich and meaningful because of the variety of voices included in it.

On Monday, September 30, 2024, from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, our new Bell Choir will have its first rehearsal. Kathleen Nagy will lead this newest musical ministry. The plan is to meet for practice weekly on Mondays at 6:30 pm in the church sanctuary.

Betty Machete and the Jumping Fleas, an all-women's ukulele club, will be practicing at the UUCW every other Monday! We welcome UUCW members and friends to join us. Non-binary and trans women are welcome. You do not need prior musical experience, just come and sing along and have fun!

GREENDALE ECUMENICAL GROUP - ADULT FORUM SERIES - Tuesdays @ 7 PM ONLINE Beginning October 1, 2024. We continue our ongoing study of Archeology and the Bible. This part of the series takes us from Persian captivity through the early ministry of Jesus of Nazareth.

Join us for our monthly Lunch with the Minister on Wednesday, November 6 at noon. Bring your lunch and enjoy a casual visit and conversation with Aaron and other UU friends in Fellowship Hall. Beverages and place settings are provided. Everyone is welcome to drop in.

In solidarity with the mission and ministry of Worcester Fellowship's Thursday Cafe, we are looking for people who are willing to assist in the creation of 60 bagged lunches a month, to be packed on Wednesday evening (dates/time to be determined). Volunteers would gather in the UUCW kitchen for about 1 hour to pack the lunches.

The UUCW Knitting Group does not discriminate!!! Our fiber group has been meeting for approximately 6 months and has grown in scope. We now have experienced knitters, crocheters and cross-stitchers in our group. We are changing our name! We don't discriminate based on thread of choice!

A UUCW group has recently formed to discuss issues of racism within our community, our country and abroad. We would love to have you join us on this journey. This group meets, live or online, at 10:00 AM every other Tuesday unless noted below (see church calendar HERE for exact dates).
