From the office of The Orthodox Apostolic Mission in New Zealand.
Thank you for your support for the work we are doing in the Pacific.
We are very grateful for your Parish's commitment to our Mission through your donation of $NZ 4,795.75 which was made during Metropolitan Myron's recent visit to Wisconsin.
We are very grateful for this support as it is only through the generosity of people such as yourselves that we are able to have a presence in the Islands of Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa. Our goal is to spread the word of Orthodoxy and to provide some support to those in need - be this, for example, providing a safe and nurturing environment at our Orphange in Fiji for displaced children, helping young adults with further study opportunities to increase their employability, providing philanthropic help for those in need e.g. gifting of food vouchers, etc. Once again, our sincere thanks.
CHURCH OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR Position at Annunciation – Sarah has resigned from the Church Office Administrator role, effective April 11, 2025, because she is moving closer to family and her new granddaughter. She will continue part time as the Finance Admin for our parish. We are actively seeking to fill a full-time position as the Church Office Administrator to manage our office, publications & hall rental needs. We have engaged a professional company to manage our hiring process. The link to the job listing is below in case you (or someone you know) are (is) interested - https://g.co/kgs/Q4YbxRt
K3 SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSROOM ---
Welcome to the 3K Sunday School classroom. We are happy and blessed to have this class up and running. To secure the safety of our 3 K students, all students must be registered for Sunday School to attend. This will ensure we have all students’/guardians’ contact information and are aware of students' health concerns (allergies, etc). To register your child(ren) use the QR code or visit https://www.annunciationwi.org/forms/youth-registration
Each Sunday, the 3K classroom structure will include two volunteer teachers, a small snack, a lesson, and an activity. If your child brings a sippy cup /water bottle to class, please have their name on it. We encourage all parents to take their children to the restroom before dropping them off in the classroom. This will allow all the children to have quality classroom time. The classroom will also have a sign-in and sign-out sheet. Please take the time to complete this step. We understand that each child has their own level of readiness to attend class. If your child is having difficulty transitioning into the classroom, you are welcome to stay with your child or you can try again the following week. We truly want this introduction to the Sunday School program /3K classroom to be a positive experience. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. Blessings to you all. Kim Mamalakis or Patti Frangopoulos
