2025-2026 BACK-TO-SCHOOL INFORMATION

SUMMER GREETINGS! 

We have arrived at the final weeks of summer break, and we are excited to welcome you back. As you prepare for the weeks ahead, here are some important dates and information to keep in mind. We look forward to a fantastic school year!

IMPORTANT CALENDAR DATES

August:

4 – Class Schedules Available in Family Portal

6 – 6th & 7th-Grades Retreat Meetings – 5:45 p.m.

6 – New Student/Parent Orientation – 6:30 p.m.

11 – First Day of School for Grades 8 through 12

11-12 – 6th Grade IGNITION Retreat

12-14 – 7th Grade JUMPSTART Retreat

13 – Late Start – 9:22 a.m.

14-15 – 8th Grade LAUNCH POINT Retreat

15 – All High School FALL FEST

17-18 – 12th Grade SENIOR RETREAT

18 – First Day of School for Grades 6 and 7

20 – Late Start – 9:22 a.m.

27 – Late State – 9:22 a.m.

28 – Parent Back-to-School Night – 7:00 p.m.

September:

5 – New Family Tailgate – 5:00 p.m.

8 – Homecoming Week

16 – School Picture Day

CLASS SCHEDULES

Class schedules will be available the week of August 4th. New families, please bring a printed copy of your schedule to New Student/Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 6. You will have the opportunity to walk your schedule and get familiar with the building.


High school students with a study hall during the first or last period of a day can request late arrival or early dismissal. Please submit this form for approval.

STUDENT/PARENT HANDBOOK

Both students and parents are required to sign the CVCA Student/Parent Handbook by August 7. Parents can find the handbook through FACTS. Students will receive a separate email with a signature link. New students will receive their CVCA email address and Chromebook at Orientation on August 6.

SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS

APPEARANCE STANDARDS and SPIRIT WEAR

School apparel can be purchased in-store at Kids Kloset (907 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls), or online through BSN Sports, SquadLocker, and online or in-store at Young’s.

TRANSPORTATION

All student drivers are required to register their car in the Main Office. The cost of a Parking Permit for the 2025-2026 school year is $120. To apply for a permit, or for other transportation information, begin HERE.


If you are planning to use your local school district’s bussing, please contact their transportation department directly to make arrangements.

NEW STUDENT/PARENT ORIENTATION

All NEW students and parents are invited to Orientation on August 6 where we will welcome you into the CVCA community as we introduce ourselves and share information about the start of the school year. Students will receive their Chromebooks, have time to walk their schedule, set up lockers, and meet other new families. There will also be opportunities to purchase apparel, meet with Athletics, and ask questions.
