On behalf of Bishop Robin Dease and District Superintendent Michael McQueen, the Staff Parish Relations Committee at Chamblee First United Methodist Church is delighted to announce our pastor appointment for 2025-2026. In the United Methodist Church, pastors are itinerant and appointed for one-year terms, moving to where, through prayer and discernment, the Bishop and cabinet believe they can best serve the conference.
We are thrilled to share that Rev. Blair Zant has been re-appointed to Chamblee First UMC. We are excited to continue our 199th year and embark on our 200th anniversary with Rev. Zant at the helm. Over the past year, she has enriched our congregation immensely—from attending Romeo Breakfasts, serving communion at Grow Camp at our church, working alongside our Mission Committee in El Salvador, to sharing her beautiful voice in sermons and singing from the altar.
We eagerly look forward to building upon the growth and spiritual journey with Rev. Zant.
