2025/26 DRAFT Indoor Signing & Tryouts

We would like to thank everyone for their patience as we roll-out of the 2025/26 Signing & Tryout process. We are working with the Alberta Schools' Athletic Association (ASAA) to closely align our club signing and tryout timelines with their non-school team participation policies. Below is a DRAFT so our members have the general framework of the proposed process and timelines. There may be slight changes, but the primary signing will start at the beginning of September, in line with Volleyball Alberta’s 2025/26 membership year and new Membership Policy; the Winter tryout period will begin after the ASAA Provincials. A finalized version of the Signing and Tryouts will be distributed after the ASAA AGM which is being held on June 19.

The finalized version will not affect the new 2025/26 Early Re-Sign for the 17U-18U age groups (June 9-11), the early Re-Signing Form will be made available in early June for those clubs and athletes that would like to select this option.

The 2025/26 Signing and Tryout document has a list of Frequently Asked Questions for athlete/parents and clubs, which should provide further context on the process. We would like to thank everyone for providing their feedback.
