Now that construction is complete at the Savannah Convention Center (SCC), the updated facility is significantly larger than we've experienced in past years. To assist conference attendees in navigating the space, the SCC has outlined the accessibility options available.
Accessibility is a top priority at the Savannah Convention Center. From parking to the trade show floor, the SCC is fully accessible to all guests. There are ramps at all entrances, and restroom facilities for disabled patrons are provided throughout the facility.
The SCC was originally designed to provide full access to guests with disabilities. There are ample designated disabled parking spaces, several passenger drop-off areas, and convenient curb cuts for easy wheelchair access.
No golf carts will be available to transport attendees; however, the SCC has manual push wheelchairs available for use. A legal identification card is required for a deposit, although there is no rental charge for the use of a wheelchair. Note: Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Trained and certified guide dogs or service animals are permitted for guests with disabilities. The owner must take full responsibility of their animal.
