FARE-Recognized Support Group Stipend Program


The FARE-Recognized Support Group Stipend Program helps fund the operational expenses of support groups. Operational expenses include, but are not limited to, website maintenance, virtual platforms, materials and supplies, marketing and advertising, printing, speaker honorariums, and annual subscriptions. Deadline for applications: March 3, 2025.

 

Stipend awards are available for up to $500 and the funding cycle runs from March 15 to December 31.

2025 Community Outreach Awards


The 2025 Community Outreach Awards are open for applications. The deadline to apply for either program (COA or support group stipend) is March 3, 2025.

 

The Community Outreach Award (COA) Program is designed to empower volunteer leaders to implement initiatives aimed at educating others about the severity of food allergies, raising awareness of the disease as a serious public health issue and creating change within their local communities.

 

COAs are available for up to $3,000 and the funding cycle runs from March 1 to December 31.

FARE’s Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is our voice for the teen and young adult food allergy community. TAG members are active in writing blogs for the FARE website, acting as social media ambassadors, working with their local school districts, supplying food pantries with allergy safe foods, starting 501c3 nonprofit organizations…. yes, you get it…basically changing the world! Our first meeting will be held virtually in February so please try to get the application completed ASAP!
