PHILIPPINES
72 churches joined CB Philippines

CB Philippines has almost 800 churches in their network. Pictured above are the 72 newly accepted churches brought into membership during the 21st National Assembly of the Conservative Baptist Association of the Philippines on November 25-28. Thirty-nine men were also ordained during the meetings. Congratulations to all!

El Salvador

There is a network of 10 churches in western El Salvador that is part of CB Global called El Camino network. Local pastors and leaders have been studying the Bible and have been going into their communities and leading people to Christ. Above is a picture of a baptism of new believers.

PERU

Pastor Luis David Alberto Inga is a part of a network of 30 churches in Peru (Iglesia Evangelica Bustista Horeb de Huarmey) that is part of CB Global. He has already planted 20 church, and they have begun expanding into the highland areas, such as the town of Carmocho, with the goal of planting another church. Some areas are so remote they have to travel on mules. During their last mission trip, his wife María suffered a fractured fibula, but she is currently in rehabilitation. Luis requests prayers for his wife’s recovery, provision for his family, and a vehicle for ministry.

South India (SIBGA)

The Slum Ministry in Karnataka is in desperate need of support and care. The dedicated team from South India Baptist General Association, a member of CB Global, is committed to providing these vulnerable youngsters with the chance to return to school. They want to start a feeding and education program aimed at transforming their lives.

Meanwhile, the Alpha School of Theology is flourishing, with a new cohort of 29 adult learners hailing from five different states, showcasing the profound impact of this initiative endorsed by the Pacific Church Network's Seminary of the Americas. We are incredibly grateful for your prayers and support for both ministries!

EARTHQUAKE RELIEF - PHILIPPINES

We are grateful for the incredible generosity exhibited by our community, which has enabled us to send $1,200 USD to CB Philippines in support of churches and communities grappling with the aftermath of the earthquakes and typhoons this fall. This significant contribution underscores the collective impact we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose. Your commitment not only aids in the immediate relief efforts but also strengthens our mission of spreading the gospel and serving those in desperate need.

MYANMAR

In Myanmar, CB Global is connected with two ministries. Pastor Go, one of our pastors there, wrote about his trip to Taiwan to attend the missions conference at a CB Taiwan church. He wrote.... "This year, in September, thanks to Wuchang Baptist Church and Pastor John Kou, the Lord opened the door for us to visit CB Taiwan. In November, we visited Myanmar Refugees in Malaysia.

Prayer requests:

  • Pray for Myanmar refugees in Malaysia. Some of them have a UNHR card. Card holders are safe to go everywhere in Malaysia, and it's easy to get job. But people without this card are not safe and live in fear. They are hungry for God and God’s protection.
  • Pray for Myanmar's peace and tranquility.
  • Pray for Myanmar church planting and missions. Every mission organization is working to reach the nation for Christ. “With approximately 48 million Buddhists, Myanmar has the third largest Buddhist population in the world, after Thailand and China.”
  • Pray for our children's camp which will be conducted in the last week of March, 2026. We expect 200 children may be gathering.

LATIN AMERICA ZOOM
November 5, 2025

On November 5, a Zoom meeting took place as eighteen pastors and leaders from across Latin America came together via Zoom, joined by Jim Smith and Emilio Nuñez. This meeting, which included two pastors from Cuba and one from Spain, exemplified the profound importance of connection and community within our faith. They united in prayer and encouragement. Nine Latin American church networks that have joined CB Global in 2025—spanning from Argentina to El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Peru—highlighted the expanding impact of their shared mission to spread the gospel. Let's be in prayer for these dedicated leaders, reaffirming CB Global's unwavering commitment to uplifting and supporting church communities worldwide through our shared faith and outreach.

Guatemala

Pastor Elvis Dominguez is a dedicated leader of Abundant Life Baptist Church in Guatemala and a vital part of the Abundant Life Network, which is part of CB Global. They are embarking on an inspiring new church plant initiative that calls for our collective spirit of support and prayer. As he envisions a new section of the church building that will serve as a nurturing classroom for children, providing a space for Sunday School and various community activities, we are reminded of the profound impact this initiative will have on the lives of many families in the area. Pastor Elvis, who selflessly balances his role as a bi-vocational school teacher while investing his personal finances into the ministry, exemplifies the unwavering commitment and dedication that resonate deeply within the values of the CB Global.

Nicaragua

Pastor Rigoberto and Claudia Reyes have been serving in Nicaragua for years with a network of CB churches who joined CB Global in 2013. His ministry has expanded to include 30-40 leaders across 12 countries, overseeing around 500 churches. One of the main challenges they face is the lack of formal theological education, with over 90% of ministry leaders in Nicaragua and similar numbers across the region lacking this training. To address this, they aim to strengthen key leaders advancing to higher education (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees) and expand theological education to new countries through their program, Biblical Education for Expansion (BEE). Over the next five years, their focus will be on developing these priorities to help expand and deepen the Gospel’s reach in Latin America.
