The Town’s Draft 2025 Annual Report is now available for public review and comment.
The Draft Report provides residents with an overview of the Town's activities, achievements, and financial performance over the past year. It highlights major projects, initiatives, and service improvements completed in 2025, while demonstrating how Council's strategic priorities and community goals were advanced.
The Report includes the Town's audited financial statements, a list of permissive tax exemptions, an overview of municipal services and operations, and a statement of objectives and performance measures for the current and following year.
"The Annual Report is an important accountability and transparency tool," said Mayor Teunis Westbroek. "The Report provides residents with a clear picture of the work accomplished throughout the year, the services delivered by staff, and the investments being made to support our community now and into the future."
The Annual Report will be formally presented at the Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 am in Council Chambers at Town Hall, 660 Primrose Street.
Residents are encouraged to review the Report and provide feedback. Copies are available to review online qualicumbeach.com and in person at Town Hall during regular business hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, excluding statutory holidays.
Public comments will be accepted from June 10, 2026, until the commencement of the June 24, 2026 Council meeting
