Special Recognition

The Excellence in Graduate Polymer Research Symposium is organized to recognize outstanding graduate students in polymer science and engineering, foster networking and exposure, and help develop the careers of future leaders in the polymer field. This annual symposium was started in 2004 and includes both oral and poster sessions with presentations exclusively from graduate students.

Each year, two outstanding nominations are recognized. You can view their work below.

In addition to the outstanding nominations above, the organizers request that each department nominate one outstanding graduate student to present their research in this special symposium. There were 26 oral and 12 poster presentations.
