Our heli-fishing season launched on Sunday and delivered an unforgettable seven-day jungle adventure for our guests from Finland and the United States.

We ventured into the remote, crystal-clear waters of the Pluma and Itirizama Rivers, where anglers encountered aggressive pacú and hard-hitting golden dorado. The rivers are in prime condition — clean, vibrant, and perfect for sight fishing and explosive strikes.

Once again, our helicopter-supported program proved invaluable, providing exclusive access to untouched stretches of river deep within the Bolivian Amazon. Every hookup brought unforgettable moments — strong takes, aerial acrobatics, and jungle memories to last a lifetime.

Agua Negra

June 7–13, 2025

We kicked off the 2025 season with plenty of action, especially from small to mid-sized dorado across all our rivers. This kind of widespread activity hasn’t been seen in years — likely a result of the dry seasons we’ve experienced recently.

With rainfall returning to normal, the dorado migration seems to be back on track. Although midweek showers brought a brief drop in temperature, the rivers remained clear and fishable throughout all of our beats.

The week’s largest dorado and pacú were both landed in the Upper Agua Negra — a fantastic sign of what’s to come.
