Pluma Lodge

Week

August 30–6, 2025

This week brought another incredible adventure on the water! Our anglers from the Netherlands and the United States enjoyed outstanding fishing for dorados, pacú, and yatoranas. The action was nonstop, with rat and mouse patterns proving to be the stars of the week—while a few hungry pacú even rose to take dry flies off the surface.

With such remarkable catches and exciting moments every day, it was truly an unforgettable week on the river. The fishing remains on fire, and the season continues to deliver at its best!

Secure Lodge

Week

August 29–5, 2025

This past week at Sécure Lodge we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic group of six passionate anglers from the United States.

Weather conditions were steady and favorable, with crystal-clear waters and a gentle, consistent rise in water temperatures throughout the week—perfect ingredients for great fishing.

The river treated us to a variety of moods: some days were fast-paced and action-packed, while others invited patience and stealth. Yet no matter the rhythm, every angler enjoyed thrilling encounters with trophy dorados in every type of scenario. One of the absolute highlights was a spectacular 21-pound golden beast, taken high up in the upper section on a mouse imitation—a memory to last a lifetime!

Topwater action was a true delight, delivering fun-filled sessions downstream where dorados eagerly smashed Chernobyl ants and other floating patterns. To crown the week, Ashahana Creek gifted us with exceptional fishing on the final day.

And it wasn’t just the dorados that kept rods bent. This time the mighty pacú joined the show, rewarding anglers with unforgettable battles and landing massive “black plates” along the upper beaches and deep pools.

All in all, Chapter 10 was nothing short of remarkable—a week filled with great people, pristine nature, and golden memories.

Agua Negra Lodge

Week

August 29-05, 2025

Last week, we had the joy of welcoming a wonderful family from South Africa, joined by their friend Drew. Their stay with us was truly special—blessed with mostly sunny skies and just a touch of rain, which only made the fishing even more exciting. In fact, those cooler days turned into some of the best action of the week, with the last few days delivering unforgettable moments on the water.

Our guests experienced the thrill of landing countless dorados, plenty of yatoranas, and even a few remarkable pacú. Thanks to perfect river conditions, we explored every corner of our waters without needing overnight camps, making the experience even more comfortable.

It was a week filled with exceptional fishing, stunning nature, and incredible camaraderie—a perfect combination that created memories to last a lifetime.
