Thank you for 21 years of Dress Giveaway Success!

Twenty-one years of making prom memories and we couldn't have done it without our amazing team of volunteers.

The joy that was radiating from our Prom Dress Giveaway earlier this month felt surreal. We gave out nearly 3,300 dresses!

A huge part of this success goes to the more than 400 volunteers who showed up throughout the weekend to help with setup, the Special Needs Giveaway, Sharing the Love, tear down, and helping hundreds of students pick the perfect dress. Without the incredible support from our volunteers this weekend would not be possible.

The remaining dresses have been packed up and placed in storage to be ready for next year's event. Mark your calendar for next year's Giveaway - March 2026! And watch our website and social media for Dreams Scholarships and Sharing the Love applications and deadlines.

Dreams Awarded at Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

To kick off our wonderful weekend the four Dreams scholarship winners received certificates and cut the pink ribbon to open the salon for the 21st Prom Dress Giveaway on Saturday, April 5th.

This year's winners are: Anika Thomas, Trade School Scholarship (Parkrose High School, Portland, OR); Salema Shiferaw, 4-Year College or University Scholarship (Parkrose High School, Portland, OR); Caden Christensen, Community College Scholarship, (Amity High School, Amity, OR); and Victoria Huynh, Elaine A. Davis Memorial Scholarship (Franklin High School, Portland, OR).

We are proud to have awarded nearly $10,000 to these four outstanding high school seniors and since 2011 have awarded nearly 45 scholarships.
