2025 GlobalMindED Conference Recap: Unifying, Uplifting, and Uniting
The 2025 GlobalMindED Conference, held June 16–18 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown, marked our 11th annual gathering of First Gen students, inclusive leaders, and change agents from across sectors. With over 95 sessions and 400+ speakers, the event served as a dynamic platform to accelerate economic mobility, ignite innovation, and expand opportunity for all.
The conference kicked off with Monday’s pre-conference programming, including the First Gen Leadership Summit, Trustee Leadership roundtables, and the annual Exceptional Leaders Awards dinner, honoring pioneers in education, government, technology, health, sustainability, media, and more. Throughout the week, attendees engaged in transformative plenaries, networking sessions, and interactive tracks spanning early learning, K–12, higher education, workforce development, health, tech, AI, foundations and funders, entrepreneurship, and STEAM.
Special highlights included:
- Keynotes from NASA leaders, university presidents, entrepreneurs, and public officials such as Governor Jared Polis and former NBA star Jerome “Junkyard Dog” Williams.
- Student-led panels, problem-solving labs, and an interactive Industry Marketplace connecting talent to opportunity.
- Performances, book signings, and plenary sessions that bridged arts, culture, and innovation with purpose-driven leadership.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our presenting sponsors—including El Pomar Foundation—and to the many partners, institutions, and contributors who made this convening possible.
As we look ahead, we invite you to join us for the 2026 GlobalMindED Conference, June 9-10. We are also proud to announce our global convening at the United Nations in New York City on October 17, 2025, expanding the GlobalMindED mission to the international stage.
