On Sunday, September 21st, 650 runners came out to the Palisades Interstate Park for our annual Half Marathon and inaugural 8K Trail Run. The race was one of the Conservancy's biggest events yet with a combined turnout of approximately 1,000 people including runners, spectators, and volunteers. Our runners ranged from 7 to 85 years old, from 15 states, and four countries including Japan, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. We are blown away by the energy and determination of our runners as they conquered some serious elevation on the Palisades Cliffs. A huge congratulations to them all!

After the race, runners and their supporters enjoyed the first beautiful day of Fall at the Ross Dock Finish Festival, enjoying bagels and fruit from In Thyme Catering, sandwiches from Jersey Mikes, chilled beers from Athletic Brewing Co., and delightful music from Fat Boi's Brass Band.

Thank you to all our volunteers, vendors, and supporters who made this day happen! To help make more meaningful programming possible, please consider donating to the Palisades Parks Conservancy and the 29 public State Parks and Historic Sites that we serve.

Thank you to our sponsors!

Don’t miss out: stay tuned for 2026 race announcements.
We hope to see you there!

We depend on individuals, as well as public funds, for financial support to fulfill our mission.
