5 WEEKS!!! I say this in a Monica Geller-screaming voice! (A little Friends throwback for some of us)
We are five weeks out from Abigail’s Arms' first annual fundraising event. As the agency has grown over the past 42 years, we find that our gracious community has always stepped up, always been there for support. Whether that was a package of toilet paper (COVID era panic) or financially giving to help us support the clients walking in our doors.
At this time, the Board and staff are focusing on how to continue to support current clients while also expanding in ways that meet the evolving needs of our community. One such way is helping to fund our VOCE Team. Abigail’s Arms Victim Outreach and Community Education Team works within our local school districts to help children find their voice and take ownership of their actions and their futures.
Our curriculum aims to help children and youth develop leadership skills, fostering an understanding of respect for each other and themselves. It’s about building a foundation where they can not only succeed academically but also create positive, lasting change within their classrooms, schools, and communities.
But here’s the truth: we can’t do it without you. Your support, whether through a donation, attending our event, or simply sharing our mission—directly fuels the growth of our VOCE Team, enabling us to reach more children and create a lasting impact. Together, we have the power to make a real difference in the lives of these young leaders.
Let’s continue to grow, support, and uplift one another. Your unwavering dedication means the world to us and the community. Thank you for being part of this journey!
