On 5 June, 2025, USTRANSCOM released advisory #25-0086B, updating the parameters as it pertains to weekend or holiday pickups and/or deliveries. Effective immediately, the government is authorizing overtime or extra labor to accommodate weekend or holiday pickups/deliveries.
12. Weekend and Holiday Pick-Ups & Deliveries:
12.1. Weekend or holiday pick-ups and deliveries are authorized. Such deliveries will be authorized overtime or additional hourly pay for workers not to exceed five hours. Additional compensation for vehicle operating hours in support of weekend and holiday deliveries will not be authorized. Weekend or holiday deliveries require agreement between the customer and the TSP
13. Labor: Effective 4 June 2025, the PPSO will have the authority to authorize additional labor for shipments to increase capacity, i.e., shipments that are not accepted in DPS, via DPM and manual bookings efforts through 30 September 2025.
13.1. 1 – 4,999 lbs.: Not to exceed five hours at origin pickup Blk 19
13.2. 5,000 – 9,999 lbs.: Not to exceed 10 hours at origin pickup Blk 19
13.3. 10,000 – 18,000 lbs. and over: Not to exceed 15 hours at origin pickup Blk 19
We are asking our agents to RESPOND WITHIN ONE HOUR of receipt of a shipment offer from NFC or NVL International. Unfortunately, we may have to move on to another agent if we do not hear from you within that time.
Please continue to send your domestic and international blackouts to blackouts@nationalforwarding.com so that we can closely monitor shipment offers.
