The American College of Bankruptcy Foundation (the "Foundation") is a Section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, supported by the American College of Bankruptcy (the "College") and by tax-deductible contributions from Fellows of the College and others. The Foundation awards grants to legal services organizations whose activities are consistent with the objectives of our charitable and educational missions. In 2024, the College and Foundation awarded 49 pro bono grants totaling over $599,050 to legal services organizations located in 18 states plus the District of Columbia. We also awarded $56,000 in professional pipeline grants to five organizations to help students attend conferences and obtain work experience through internships throughout the nation, and to help organizations create materials to build cultural competency skills to better serve bankruptcy clients.
