The Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) Director Elections nomination process officially opened March 1.
Director Elections will be conducted this year in the following three regions:
REGION I - The counties of Frederick and Shenandoah, the portion of Page County located north of U.S. Route 211, and the portions of Warren County and Rappahannock County west of U.S. Route 522.

REGION VII
Louisa County
Currently represented by J. Mark Wood
Nomination Packets are now available. To obtain the candidate nomination pocket, visit myrec.coop/directorelections, email directorelections@myrec.coop or call 540-891-5889.
REC members who wish to become a candidate must reside in the region to which they wish to be elected, meet director qualifications and complete the nomination process. For further details on director qualifications and the nomination procedures, please review Article IV of REC’s Bylaws in the Governance and Document Center on REC’s website.
Director elections will take place on Aug. 20 at REC's Annual Meeting. The nomination process must be completed no later than 5 p.m. on May 2. No nominations can be accepted at the Annual Meeting.
