Stronger Together: ZenniHomes Rapid Response Event Brings Hope and Support

On September 12, the LeChee Chapter House became a hub of community care and collaboration as partners rallied to support employees impacted by the ZenniHomes layoff. The event brought together a wide range of workforce partners committed to ensuring no one faced this transition alone.

Workforce teams from the Coconino County Workforce Development Board, Title I-B service provider Eckerd Connects, Arizona Department of Economic Security Coconino County, Navajo Department of Workforce Development, Phoenix Indian Center, Quality Connections, and others provided on-site career counseling, unemployment insurance assistance, training opportunities, and job resources. Staff worked side by side to answer questions, guide participants through processes, and connect them with meaningful next steps.

Nearly 30 community members received immediate, personalized support. More importantly, the event celebrated the power of partnerships—demonstrating how county, state, and tribal teams can come together to lift up our community when it’s needed most. The strong teamwork and shared commitment created lasting connections and a model of collaboration to build upon for future Rapid Response events.
