Dear Summer Camp Volunteer,
Despite the temperature dropping to near freezing last night, the summer camp season is rapidly approaching! The program team is working with the various area directors to finalize the program offering in preparation for Merit Badge sign-ups to open on Saturday, May 3rd.
Below are key points of information. Please share with the key leaders of your unit.
Pre-camp Leaders Meeting
While the video tutorial series is designed to get information out to you sooner, we are still planning to hold a pre-camp leaders meeting via Zoom on May 3rd starting at 9:00am. Our hope is the length of the meeting will be shortened due to the pre-recorded video series.

Video Tutorial Series - Merit Badge Signup Process
We just recorded our fourth video in the summer camp tutorial series. This video covers the Merit Badge sign-up and lottery process. You can access this video and others in the series from our forms & resources page at: https://www.ockanickon.org/forms-resources
Camp Fee Discount Deadline
The current discounted-rate tier is available through April 30th. Starting May 1st the Regular Rate of $595 will apply to any Youth slots. The AOL Crossover rate of $540 remains available through May 31st. Contact Michelle with any questions on camp fees.
Full Participant Types in Tentaroo
If Troops need to add more Scouts to a "FULL" Youth or AOL Participant Type, reach out to Michelle and she will add the spots to your registration.
Custom T-shirt Pre-Orders
Units can pre-order custom camp T-shirts. The design, pricing details & online ordering can be found here. Place one complete pre-paid order for your Troop as a whole by May 15th. Reach out to Michelle with any questions.
