2025 Hamel Foundation NHS 3'3" Equitation Championship Crowned

Lexington, KY – October 27, 2025 – Competition at the 142nd National Horse Show kicked off bright and early at the Alltech Arena with the 2025 edition of The Hamel Foundation NHS 3'3" Equitation Championship. Of the 172 riders in the field, one pair stood out, holding the highest-scoring rounds of the day.

After three phases of competition at the 142nd National Horse Show, Sydney Mohrhardt of Boca Raton, Florida, claimed the Hamel Foundation NHS 3'3" Equitation Championship aboard Saint Louis, a Zangersheide gelding owned by Clear 4 Takeoff, LLC. Trained by Jacob Pope, Mohrhardt earned two of only four 90+ rounds, finishing with a 93.25 in the final test, which challenged the top five riders to ride the course without stirrups.
