WYOMING #263

NO POINTS REQUIRED ANTELOPE HUNT

This operation is south of Gillette, in northeast Wyoming, which has some of the largest antelope numbers in the entire State. They have leased over 100,000 acres of private land, along with over 250,000 acres of public land. Their pronghorn hunts are traditionally close to 100% success, and the best part is that historically you don’t need any preference points to draw a tag (May 31 application deadline)!

They take a max. of just 6 hunters at a time, and meals and lodging is included. The hunting lodge is located on the family ranch and consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a comfortable living and dining area. They provide all bedding and linens. Alternatively, they also offer a very affordable “motel hunt”.

A 2-day rifle or 3-day archery motel hunt is $2,650 per person 2x1 (you are responsible for meals and lodging). A fully-outfitted 3-day rifle or 4-day archery hunt is $3,500 per person 2x1. Crossbows are legal on archery hunts.

DATES:

September 15-17 archery motel hunt (2 spots)

September 18-21 archery lodge hunt (4 spots)

October 20-21 rifle motel hunt (1 spot)

October 28-30 rifle lodge hunt (1 spot)

TROPHY ANTELOPE HUNT - LAST CHANCE FOR 2025!

Simply one of our best antelope outfitters. They hunt high-quality private land leases (nearly 300,000 acres in total in 5 different Units) in southeast Wyoming, and produce high success and impressive trophies every year. In 2024, they were 100%, including 11 for 11 on archery hunts (including one 82” and 4 that were over 75”!).

You will need at least 3 preference points to draw the license. Once you do, our Senior Consultant Brian Stecklein is your guide on these hunts, and he will be in camp to see that all goes well. Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned veteran, this is a hunt for you.

Rifle hunts are 3 days/4 nights, Archery hunts are 4 days/5 nights for $3,500 per person 2x1 and include meals and lodging. Price of license is extra. You will need at least 3 preference points to draw the license

ALASKA #323

BOOK 2 GET 2 FREE! - 5-STAR FISHING RESORT

Located on the eastern shore of Prince of Wales Island, this Orvis-endorsed lodge can accommodate up to 19 guests in high standards of excellence with first-class service, and some of Alaska's best saltwater fishing and freshwater. Their knowledgeable guides and captains, along with their culinary staff, make your Alaskan adventure unforgettable!

Saltwater fishing takes place via boat across the Clarence Strait, which is typically very calm. Options include dropping crab pots, bobbing for halibut or trolling for salmon (the area is known as the “Salmon Capital of the World”). The oceanfront lodge offers all-inclusive, luxury fishing opportunities for anyone who wants to discover first-hand why Alaskan saltwater fishing is an unparalleled experience. Their fleet of saltwater fishing boats are 28-foot ocean cruisers specially designed for your comfort and safety. Freshwater fishing, both spin casting and flyfishing, is world-class in nearby rivers, lakes and streams, with easy access to 23 select waterways on breathtaking Prince of Wales Island. Many of these neighboring waters are only fished when lodge guests venture out, allowing you to cast and catch in solitude. The island’s largest river, the Thorne, is just up the road from the lodge property. Freshwater fishing trips are easily accessed on the island with a fleet of Suburbans. While this makes fly-out trips completely unnecessary, fly-outs are available for an additional cost. The lodge offers guided fishing trips targeting species such as King salmon, coho salmon, rainbow trout, silver salmon and even Arctic char. The lodge caters to both seasoned anglers and beginners, with fishing charters customized to suit individual preferences and skill levels.

FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, book 2 guests for a min. 2-day/3-night all-inclusive pro-guided trip (freshwater or saltwater) at a price of $2,896 per guest, and bring 2 additional guests for no extra charge!

2025 DATES: Good availability before July 15 and after August 15

SOUTH AFRICA #256

WE HUNT HERE! FREE RANGE PLAINS GAME SAFARI

Most experienced hunters will tell you that there is no better place in Africa for variety and abundance of plains game species than South Africa, and that there is no better value for your safari dollar. But ALL of South Africa is high-fenced, right? WRONG! We work with a premier outfitter in South Africa that is entirely FREE RANGE, and over 1.2 million acres/1,800 sq. miles of it at that, in different areas of the country. All species hunted (about 35 in total) are indigenous, wild and self-sustaining. In addition to plains game, their concessions have Cape buffalo and elephant as well. They also offer muzzleloader and bowhunting, and even some upland birds and waterfowl. They even have fishing, and some great sightseeing and eco tours for the whole family.

There are 3 ways to set up your safari.

  • Pay a daily rate and then pay a trophy fee for each species taken. Daily rates are only $400/day per person 1x1 or $300/day per person 2x1. Trophy fees start as low as $250.

  • Allow us to put together an all-inclusive package for you based on your most desired species. Packages normally offer a 10%-25% discount on the trophy fees included in the package.

  • Choose from one of their packages (which again normally offer a 10%-25% discount on the trophy fees included in the package). Package pricing includes guiding, food, accommodations and trophy fees, but DOES NOT INCLUDE 15% VAT on the daily rates contained within the package.

If you hanker to fish remote wild rivers for large wild fish, with no competition, this is the trip for you. The river is normally clear (not silty), modest in size and very wadeable. Or choose to go in by helicopter and pay $5,750 per person 2x1. Then float your way home, fishing largely untapped waters.

Option #2 – 6-day fully-guided 2x1 lodge/float combo trip. For those wanting to sample it all, they offer a 4-day lodge stay with guided fishing and all meals included, PLUS an additional 2-day camp and float fish trip. For the first four days, you will leave the lodge via jet boat each morning, then return each evening. For the final two days, you will camp and float the river with your guide. This lodge/jet boat option has been reduced from $7,750 to just $6,250 per person 2x1. If you prefer to go truly first class, you can opt to do four days of fly-outs via helicopter, then 2 days float fishing and camping. That trip is reduced by $1,500 to just $8,150 per person 2x1. BIG SAVINGS for our clients only!

2025 DATES: Late June into mid-September

NEW ZEALAND #248

BIG RED STAG, TAHR, CHAMOIS

This outfitter has possibly the biggest and best free range red stags anywhere on the South Island (seeing 6-10 mature stags a day is common), and giant estate stags up to 600+ inches SCI are available too. Outstanding tahr and chamois hunts as well, either alone or in combination with red stag. 90%-100% success on all 3 species. Elk, fallow deer, whitetail deer, sika deer, sambar deer, rusa deer, feral goats, Arapawa rams, wild boar, American bison, small game, waterfowl, upland birds, wild turkey, and great fishing also available. Hunt some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth (much of the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed here), with lots to see and do for the whole family. What a great adventure and vacation!

We have sent dozens of happy clients here, as they simply have some of the best deals in New Zealand:

Free Range Silver Medal Stag – $7,500 for 3-day hunt

You get your lodging, your meals, 1x1 guiding, and your trophy fee for your big stag all included. Any stag up to 400”, and most will be 330+”. We honestly feel he offers the best deal in New Zealand. This is cheaper than most high-quality elk hunts in the U.S.

Free Range Silver Medal Red Stag/Tahr Combo – $13,000

This hunt is for 5 days and it includes red stag (expect 330” SCI class) and tahr. This price is for a walking/hiking tahr hunt. If you prefer, you can add a helicopter to get to the tahr at extra cost.

Tahr can be hunted in 3 ways: (a) either on a private estate by spot and stalk (it’s about 7,000 acres); (b) via helicopter in the glaciers/remote mountains; and (c) in the mountains on foot, but perhaps allow for extra days. If time is pressing or physical issues apply, then do the helicopter. It means you will probably end up using about 1.5 hours of helicopter time at approx. $1,450/hour.

Free Range Silver Medal Stag, Tahr and Chamois – Only $16,500 for all 3 species This is a free range hunt. No fences. 7 days. You may take one trophy red stag. Expect 330” SCI class (equivalent to a High Silver medal). Please note that free range stags over 300” are very hard to find, but this guy is producing them! Anything you shoot over 300” will go very high in the SCI book. Probably top 5 to top 10! Also included: one trophy tahr, hunted on foot, no helicopter required, so reasonably good fitness is a must. And then you hunt for your chamois on foot, but you get dropped off at the higher elevation by helicopter into the hunting area. If you need more than a day, then camp in tents. Includes guiding, meals, lodging and trophy fees.
