FAFP September Member Spotlight: Dr. Kamini Geer

"Towards the end of my third year of medical school, I had the life changing experience that I would hazard to say most of you reading this had: my Family Medicine rotation. And that was it, I had found my calling. I was drawn to the breadth of family medicine and its ability to impact patients and communities across lifespans. I experienced this impact firsthand as a resident and fellow in New York City. During this time, I also discovered the joy of teaching. I worked in various positions over the years in residency programs in New York City and New Jersey helping residents grow into competent, confident, and compassionate physicians."
