Camper's Corner
Our Fall Camper Reunion at Craig Ranch Park- was a fun day with 53 kids, lots of laughter, and powerful reminders of how God continues working in their lives. One parent shared how both her children have transformed since camp. Her son, who had struggled for years, chose with his parent to stop his medication after camp and trust Jesus. He has since experienced dramatic improvement in his mood, character, and school performance. Her daughter returned from camp with new confidence, joined two sports teams, and built a new circle of friends.
Throughout the afternoon, we spent time in one-on-one conversations and prayer, helping campers process life since summer. Several parents also asked for continued prayer, please join us in lifting up our campers.
We were blessed by an incredible team from Praise Tabernacle, who led worship and then ministered to the kids with encouragement and prayer. We also enjoyed a visit from Karrie Bennallack, a longtime friend and supporter of Henry’s Place.
A big thank-you to Matthew & Dawn Morris who grilled over 150 hotdogs and 100 hamburgers, keeping everyone well-fed.
Please continue praying for our campers, especially in the area of identity, as many face confusing cultural messages. When they look to Jesus, we see real transformation, hope, and confidence return.
