Dear Glenmore Resident,


In accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the By-Laws of the Association, the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Members (“Owners”) of the Glenmore Community Association, Inc., a Virginia non-stock corporation (the “Association”) will be convened on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 7:00 pm at The Club in the Glenmore Ballroom.

Candidate Statements

In accordance with the February 6, 2025, approved amendment to the Glenmore Bylaws, Declaration and Articles of Incorporation, two of these directors will serve for one year, one will serve for two years, and the other three will serve for three years

The only matters to be addressed at the Annual Meeting are: 


  1. Approval of the minutes of the 2024 Association Annual Meeting
  2. Review of the Association operations for 2024. 
  3. Election of six (6) Directors to the Association Board. 
  4. Respond to any questions or issues submitted or posed by Members of the Association.


Nominations from the Floor: Because much of the voting for this year’s Annual Meeting will be done in advance of the meeting and tabulated online, there will be no nominations for the Board of Directors made from the floor at the Annual Meeting. The slate of candidates provided with this notice have been nominated by the Nominating Committee.

As a member in good standing* you have four ways to vote for the candidates for the Board of Directors.


1.Via Glenmore’s secure on-line voting platform – VOTE HOA NOW [Preferred]

To register for the platform you will need your 7-digit Glenmore/Associa account number which can be found on your assessment coupon book that you received from Associa, or log-in to your Glenmore TownSq account and find it there.

When prompted enter your provided voting code from

VOTE HOA NOW in the Voter ID box.


2.Via email. Take a picture or scan your completed proxy or ballot

signed and dated by all owners, and attach the image/file and email to: Philip Adams, Subject: Proxy/Ballot.

3.Via regular USPS mail. Send your completed proxy or ballot,

signed and dated by all owners, to the address shown below.


4.In-person.

Bring your signed and dated proxy or ballot to the meeting and submit it before the meeting is called to order at 7:00 p.m.

 

On-line balloting and e-mail closes at 5:00 pm, February 26. All paper proxy or ballots must be received no later than the start of the meeting at 7:00 pm, February 26.

Whether you attend the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Glenmore Community Association, please cast your ballot to ensure a quorum so that the candidates for the Board of Directors can be elected, and the new Board can, in turn, work on your behalf to maintain and enhance Glenmore as a wonderful place to live, play and thrive.
