From the Desk Of

Curtis Glassen

Happy New Year! Over the past several months, we’ve made a number of meaningful investments behind the scenes to further improve service quality, reliability, and security for our clients.

We’ve upgraded our monitoring platform to provide our team with deeper visibility and earlier insight into potential issues, allowing us to resolve many problems proactively—often before they’re noticed. We also introduced our new Easy Support Button, making it faster and more convenient for users to request help whenever they need it.

Security continues to be a top priority. We are nearing completion of the first wave of our security stack upgrades, which are already strengthening protection and reducing risk across client environments. Additional enhancements are planned as part of our ongoing security roadmap.

I’m also pleased to share that Chad has been promoted to a new Technical Account Manager (TAM) role. This proactive, dedicated position focuses on ensuring proper technology configuration, strong security alignment, and accurate, up‑to‑date documentation—all provided at no additional cost to our clients.

These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to being a proactive and trusted technology partner. We sincerely appreciate your trust and look forward to continuing to support your success.

Clearing Up the Microsoft Copilot Confusion

Microsoft offers a couple versions of Copilot, each designed to meet diverse user needs with specialized capabilities and seamless integration across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Let’s take a closer look and explore how these options can empower your work.

Copilot Options at a Glance

Windows Copilot

Windows Copilot is the free AI assistant built into Windows 11, designed for quick everyday help like summarizing content, generating text, and answering general questions. It doesn’t connect to Microsoft 365 apps and relies only on public web data, so it’s best suited for light personal use rather than business workflows

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat offers a secure, enterprise‑protected AI chat experience included with M365 licenses. It’s ideal for brainstorming, summarizing, and exploring ideas while keeping organizational data safe. It provides more security than the free version but still offers limited integration with Microsoft apps unless you upgrade to a full Copilot plan.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Business

Copilot Business delivers full, seamless AI integration across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote for small and mid‑sized organizations. It enhances productivity with features like meeting summaries, email drafting, data analysis, and content creation—all backed by strong enterprise‑grade privacy and data protection.
