Dear Mercy Family,

We are grateful to each of you for choosing Mercy and valuing the Catholic educational opportunities and programs that Mercy High School offers your daughter. Tuition supports a mission driven set of goals that are student centered, and we remain committed to Mercy’s tradition of educating young women in the Catholic faith and in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy.

Each year, the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees give thoughtful consideration to determining the tuition rate for the upcoming school year. In order to continue providing an excellent Mercy experience, tuition for 2026-2027 has been set at $17,800 and the annual activity fee has been set at $350, representing a combined 4.5% increase over last year. The registration fee of $100 and iPad lease fee of $165 will remain unchanged. In addition, the Graduation fee for Seniors will be $500 per student to support the meaningful and memorable Mercy High School Graduation tradition that our community values and cherishes.

Fundraising efforts allow us to cover additional costs, update the building, improve programs, provide financial assistance and ensure the sustainability of the school. We depend on benefactors to make a Mercy education possible at a time when the world needs Mercy women with their strong values, leadership and faith. We ask parents to help Mercy by participating in fundraising, volunteering and being Mercy ambassadors. In turn, the staff and administration will continue to work diligently to keep costs down without compromising the excellence of a Mercy education.

Enrollment agreements for current students will be available February 6, 2026. Please complete the enrollment forms and submit them along with your deposit by March 16, 2026 to ensure the best programs and elective offerings for your daughter. We encourage any family who may need assistance to apply for financial aid. We have endowed scholarships and additional funds received from donors that are available for tuition assistance. Visit mhsmi.org/financial-aid for information and a link to apply. Applications for financial aid are due March 3, 2026.

We realize that families sacrifice financially to send their daughters to Mercy and we are assured by parents many times over that it is the best investment they have made. May the blessings of the Lord, Our Lady of Mercy and the Venerable Catherine McAuley be upon you.
