All groups are FINAL. At this time, dropping out of a group would result in a $100 fee.

We would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding when it comes to the decisions we have to make when deciding these groups. There are many factors that play into these choices, and we truly take our time discussing all of it. These groups are made at our discretion, and we appreciate your trust in our decisions. Solos, Duos & Trios! We ask that you email the studio fusiondancecarrollia@gmail.com with your TOP 3 CHOREOGRAPHER CHOICES. Please note, you may or may not receive the choreographer of your choice. That decision will be made by our Fusion Dance Staff with your best interest in mind, as well as availability, and scheduling taken into consideration. Choreographer options are, MUSE (Jessica, Cameron, Jimena and Ella), Megan V, Taylor Schulz, Heather, Kinze or Mia. Please do NOT contact a choreographer directly. This all needs to be emailed through the studio. If you do not have a preference in a choreographer, we will assign who we feel is best. Please have your TOP 3 CHOREOGRAPHER REQUESTS emailed to the studio no later than Wednesday, July 15th.

MUSE Choreography will be Tuesday, August 11th - Friday, August 14th, at Fusion Dance CARROLL. The groups receiving a MUSE Choreographer are, Elite B, Elite C, Elite D, Lyrical A, Lyrical B, Hip Hop A, Jazz A, & Jazz B. If you are in either of the groups listed, each dancer will be charged an additional $95/group to cover the cost of guest choreography. This fee will be withdrawn on Friday, August 28th.We also need to know of any schedule conflicts for these groups by Wednesday, July 15th to help with creating the choreography schedule. MAJOR CONFLICTS ONLY (school related events, not work)!

Megan V. Choreography will be Monday, August 17th-Friday, August 21st at Fusion Dance CARROLL. The groups that will be receiving choreography from Megan are Jazz D & Lyrical F. If you are in either of the groups listed, each dancer will be charged an additional $55/group to cover the cost of guest choreography. This fee will be withdrawn on Friday, August 28th. We also need to know of any schedule conflicts for these groups by Wednesday, July 15th to help with creating the choreography schedule.

MAJOR CONFLICTS ONLY (school related events, not work)!

Taylor Schulz Choreography will be Monday, September 21st - Thursday, September 24th, at Fusion Dance CARROLL. The group that will be receiving choreography from Taylor is Elite A. If you are in the group listed, each dancer will be charged an additional $95/group to cover the cost of guest choreography. This fee will be withdrawn on Friday, August 28th. We also need to know of any schedule conflicts for these groups by Wednesday, July 15th to help with creating the choreography schedule.

MUSE Workshop:

It is MANDATORY that all competition dancers attend the MUSE Workshop. Every competition dancer has already been registered for this workshop. This year's workshop is August 15th-16th in CARROLL at Fusion Dance. 

Cost Options:

• Option 1: Cost is $190, cash or check, due July 31st.
• Option 2: OR, if you want payment to be charged to your account, it will be $195, taken out automatically on August 1st.

• NO VENMO ALLOWED.

FAQs Regarding Competition:

• Everyone should now be on WhatsApp. We will communicate a lot through this app so please check it frequently. And now that groups have been announced we will create individual WhatsApp groups based on each competition group.

• Be on the lookout for our Welcome Email in August. This email will notify you that your schedule is up and ready to be viewed via your Parent Portal (competition classes do not start until October, ballet technique does start in September).

• The Handbook and Competition fees are due October 1st. Click HERE for the 26-27 Competition Handbook. This year's competition group fee is $575/group and will be withdrawn automatically, October 1st.

• All competition dancers are required to take our Ballet Technique class. If you have not yet registered for that class you can click HERE and do so at this time. If you have already registered for fall classes you will not be asked to pay the registration fee again. We also STRONGLY ENCOURAGE our dancers to sign up for our Turns, Leaps & Jumps class and/or our Flexibility, Extensions & Conditioning class being offered this upcoming season. These classes are ran just like Ballet Technique in that they meet all year long (September - recital) but is NOT in the recital.

• Dancers do NOT need any specific shoes for their competition classes at this time. We will announce in November what shoes they will need via the WhatsApp groups, as we are deciding costuming. Do not worry if your dancer is in a jazz group but does not have jazz shoes when classes start.

• Please join our Fusion Dance Competition Team Band App! Click HERE to join today! We will post practice videos here and keep WhatsApp strictly for parent/teacher communication.

• Don't forget that this Wednesday, July 15th is the Competition Team Pool Party to KICK OFF our new season! Check WhatsApp for details. Please bring your $30 fee at that time. Checks made payable to the Fusion Dance Parent Club. Or you can Venmo Heather @Heather-Boes and clearly mark it "FDPC".
