Dear LTHS Parents & Guardians,
We are excited that your student(s) will be attending Lyons Township High School in the fall. Please read below for important information regarding enrolling your student(s) for the 2026-27 school year and completing the Online Registration (OLR) process.
Residency
We have again contracted with a company to assist the district in electronically verifying residency. This means many families will not have to prove residency by bringing in documents and forms. Your family will be notified in early July of your residency verification status. You will either be cleared for residency or you will be asked to bring in proper residency documentation. Specific instructions will be provided in early July.
Book Pick-Up
Beginning June 1, the district will encourage every family to use the online webstore to pay fees, purchase textbooks, consumables, Booster and Parent-Teacher Council memberships, and other back-to-school items. If purchases are made online and all other requirements are satisfied, then your student(s) may simply pick up their books, other supplies, and ID at Book Pick-up. Book pick-up will be at the campus your student(s) attends. Further details will be sent in the coming weeks.
Birth Certificate Requirement
Incoming freshmen only: You must submit an original birth certificate to the South Campus Main Office by June 26. The birth certificate must include the name of at least one parent. A copy will be made and the original returned to you.
Online Registration
The enrollment process for the 2026-27 school year begins TODAY, April 27 with Online Registration (OLR). To ensure your student's schedule will be completed in a timely manner, please follow all instructions carefully for each of your students that will be attending LTHS.

As a parent/guardian of a returning or incoming LT student, you have been provided with an Infinite Campus Portal account. You must use the Portal to complete OLR to ensure your student is enrolled. Please access the Portal, log in and click "More" to view the menu containing the OLR option. Select "Online Registration". Be sure to select "26-27" (next year) when prompted to select the school year. Please note: OLR must be completed by a parent/guardian living in the same household / at the same address as the student’s main residence.
- If you do not recall your Portal ID or password, are having difficulty accessing the Portal or need general OLR assistance, please contact please contact the Main Office at the campus your student will attend: Grades 9 and 10 - South Campus - 708/579-6500; Grades 11 and 12 - North Campus - 708/579-6300.
- The deadline for completing OLR is Friday, May 22, 2026. Failure to complete OLR may impact student enrollment in certain courses and may delay a student's ability to participate in co-curricular clubs, activities, and athletics.
Health Requirements
All incoming freshmen are required to provide the following health forms: 1) Certificate of Child Health Examination with proof of immunizations prior to the first day of school. This must be completed by an MD, DO, APN, or PA, dated on or after 8/18/2025. 2) Dental examination by no later than May 15, 2027. This dental examination must be completed by a licensed dentist on or after 11/15/25 and documented on the IDPH Dental Examination Form. You can find more information here.
All incoming seniors are required to provide documentation of the administration of the meningococcal conjugate (MCV4) vaccine on or after their 16th birthday prior to the first day of school. You can find more information here.
Student-athletes must have a current sports physical on file in Infinite Campus prior to tryouts. A separate sports physical is not required for freshmen. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors must submit an IHSA Approved Sports Physical Exam. Sports physicals are valid for 395 days (13 months) from the date completed by the healthcare provider. Incomplete physicals without health history/signatures will not be accepted. Students and parents/guardians can check their student's last sports physical date in the Health Section of their Infinite Campus Portal. Students with health needs during the school day (medication available at school, emergency action plans, etc) may require additional documentation. You can find more information here.
Please submit all health documentation electronically via PDF or JPEG during online registration or to healthservices@lths.net. Please identify student name and grade level in the subject line, ie., Kathleen Weber, Grade 9. Documents will be processed in the order they are received.
