Another Memorable CHA CHA!

Thank you all for a wonderful 2026 Chapter Championship!!! This is an event we all look forward to for fun, camaraderie, and good competition. Fortunately, this year we managed to get two beautiful days a week apart at Rancho Bernardo Inn as we changed our format from back-to-back days on a weekend to 2 consecutive Sundays. Hopefully, you have all responded to the survey we sent asking for your input on dates/times/format so that we can plan appropriately for another successful Chapter Championship next year.

It was super fun to have many members playing this year, especially those that are unable to play as regularly as others. Fun to see everyone! Welcoming so many new members to the event was fantastic as well. For some, it was their very first event with our Chapter! We are so glad you came out to play and look forward to seeing you at more events.

The Chapter Championship is one of our Signature events that we hold during the year. There's a lot of organization, communication and planning that goes into making it special every year. On behalf of the Chapter, I'd like to thank Stacey Hayashi for her spearheading the creation of a very successful event and leading a dedicated team of volunteers to make it all happen. A big thank you to Susan Crawford for setting the event up in Golf Genius and another big thank you to Chris Shorkey for managing the 19th hole festivities. Below there are many other volunteers that assisted with another outstanding CHA CHA!!!

Competition at Its Best

We had 43 players who showed up, wanted it & went out to compete at Rancho Bernardo Inn for two days at our most prestigious Chapter competition, our Chapter Championship Presented by Vessel Golf! 

Great golf weather, always a tricky golf course, and an early shotgun start on both Sundays – all put together to make for a grinding competition for two days and many winners!

• A 1st time CHAPTER CHAMPION NET 

Our Chapter Championship was a success because of the collective effort.

A special shoutout to our Chapter Championship Planning Committee for their exceptional effort this year: Karen Bridges, Chris Shorkey, Kim Greco, Ashley Stone, Cindy Mason, Adrienne Acre, and Paula Smith.

Congratulations to our 2026 Chapter Champions - LeeAnn Taylor & Stacey Hayashi who won Vessel Golf Bags & took home the big perpetual trophies!

Congratulations to ALL flight winners! The second day proved to be challenging for most of the golfers and the winners pushed hard to earn their wins!

Both Rounds were our June ACES.

Congrats to our ACES of the month who have qualified to play in our Ace of Aces Tournament later this year!

Our awards 19th hole took place at one of our partners, The Golf Bar, Rancho Bernardo - good pizzas, cheer & celebrations!

Rancho Bernardo Inn hosted our 2026 Chapter Championship over two consecutive Sundays and we couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous setting with perfect weather both weekends. Congratulations to this year's top two winners - LeeAnn Taylor, our Low Gross Winner, and Stacey Hayashi, our Low Net Winner. Additional congratulations go out to all of the other women who placed in their flights or achieved closest to the pins.

Our Chapter’s success wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the generous companies and businesses that have donated goods and services to us throughout the years. Our Cha Cha signature sponsor, Vessel, provided each participant with a convenient magnetic towel, and our Overall Gross and Net Champions will receive a beautiful personalized Vessel golf bag. We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to The Golf Bar for hosting our post-tournament celebration. It was the a perfect place to relax, reconnect, and celebrate the achievements of all our winners. We'd like to extend a special thank you to the outstanding staff and team at Rancho Bernardo Inn for their exceptional hospitality and support throughout the weekend. Their attention to detail and dedication helped ensure our 2026 Cha Cha ran seamlessly from start to finish.
