2026 Design and Architectural Standards (DAS) FAQs

Based on comments or requests received regarding the current Design and Architectural Standards (DAS), OHFA has published updated FAQs.

These answers clarify and modify the DAS during calendar year 2026. Any questions that remain relevant from 2025 are incorporated and updated into this new set of FAQs.

Updates to Design and Architectural Forms for 2026

The following forms are updated for use with 2026 funding rounds; refer to the applicable QAP or guidelines for deadlines and submission requirements. These forms are currently applicable to 4% LIHTC Program Only, 9% LIHTC Program, and Housing Development Gap Funding (HDGF) Program. As other guidelines are updated, they will be applicable to those programs.
