2026 FEF Gala: Serendipity, A Sweet Escape

THE SWEETEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR IS ALMOST HERE!

The Friendswood ISD Education Foundation’s 2026 Gala: Serendipity, A Sweet Escape is right around the corner and, with more than 700 guests expected, it is sure to be a night of tremendous impact on Friendswood ISD students and teachers.

Every dollar raised will help further FEF’s mission to support FISD and enhance student and teacher experiences by providing innovative and engaging learning opportunities.

Wondering what to expect at gala?

You will experience an evening of elegance including an exquisite menu featuring a sweet showstopper dessert and a signature cocktail, along with a night of great fellowship, entertainment, and fun.

ADOPT-A-GRANT - Grants are the cornerstone of FEF’s work and will be available for purchase at the gala. They are written by teachers, inspired by students, and brought to life with the support of our community.

PADDLE RAISE - The Paddle Raise will be fully digital this year, offering guests the flexibility to support FEF’s mission and Adopt-A-Grant campaign with a donation of any amount, at any time. It will open on Monday, February 2, 2026, and remain open through the conclusion of the Gala on February 28. The Paddle Raise will still be presented prior to the Live Auction to encourage participation at the Gala.

PURSE & PAPPY’S RAFFLE - The Purse and Pappy’s Raffle is 100% online and opens on Monday, February 2, 2026. The Raffle will close at 9:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Winners will be announced at the Gala and need not be present to win.

SILENT AUCTION - The Silent Auction is 100% online, opens for bidding on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, and will close at 10:15 PM the night of the Gala.

LIVE AUCTION - The Live Auction will open for previewing on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.

ATTIRE

The event dress code is cocktail attire. For women, this typically includes a short or midi-length dress, a stylish jumpsuit, or a sophisticated evening ensemble. For men, cocktail attire generally means a suit or dress pants with a blazer and a collared shirt, with or without a tie. In short: polished, stylish, and celebration-ready - the perfect look for an evening of connection, laughter, and sweet surprises.

TRANSPORTATION

Free parking is available in the Convention Center garage.

A free shuttle is available from the San Luis for hotel guests.

Uber and Lyft are available on the island.
