Denver Parks & Recreation | January 2026

Happy New Year! (It's never too late for well wishes, right?). Start 2026 strong by adding Denver Parks and Recreation (DPR) to your must-do list.

Kick off your January with DPR:

✅ Youth (ages 5-18) get a MY Denver Card for free access to recreation centers

✅ Similarly, MY Denver PRIME expands free access for Denverites (ages 60+)

✅ Use the Find a Park tool to explore one of 280 urban parks

✅ Drive up to Denver's mountain parks and stop by the Buffalo Bill Museum

✅ Explore rentals and permits available for your next event, meetup or celebration

✅ Join a public meeting to help us shape future park projects

Leash Your Dogs 🐾

Even if you have the goodest boy, off-leash dogs can create safety issues for wildlife, park visitors, and even other dogs. Keep our parks welcoming for everyone! Please keep your dog on-leash unless you are inside a designated dog park. If you love them, leash them! Our #2 priority: scoop the poop! 💩

In partnership with the Denver Park Trust, we hope to build a new surface lift that will remove barriers for people of all ages, abilities, and experience levels.
