2026 Hay Days Swap Presale: The Countdown Begins!

We're back!

Hay Days powered by Dennis Kirk is just around the corner!

We’re excited to welcome you back to Hay Days 2026, happening September 12 and 13.

Because you stuck it out until 3:30 PM last year, you earned early access to this year’s Swap Presale.

You received your first presale email on May 8th, and this is your final reminder to secure your 2026 Swap Sites before presale closes.

Presale registration closes on Friday, May 22 at 5:00 PM Central. After that time, your presale opportunity will expire and you will need to purchase sites during the public sale. No exceptions will be made.

This email includes everything you need to know to claim your spot before registration opens to the public, along with updated policies and important deadlines.

Site Maximum

You are eligible to purchase up to 2 sites during the 2026 Presale. All Swap Sites are 19' x 20'.

Should you require additional space, you can purchase more during the public sale starting on June 2nd.

Registration Timeline

Swap Presale Registration will be open from

10am CT on Monday May 11th until 5pm CT on Friday May 22nd

Presale is ONLY valid during this timeframe and becomes inactive after this time.

Swap sites go on sale to the general public on June 1st.

Membership ID

All Swap Presale Registrations are tied to a MEMBERSHIP ID that is unique to each person. The system will request that you enter this ID during the registration process.

SITE SIZE & VEHICLE PARKING

Swap sites are 19' wide and 20' long.

Vehicles are parked end-to-end in a single file, not side-by-side.

When purchasing your sites, take into consideration the total linear footage for all vehicles, trailers, campers, RVs, and tents accounting for doors, ramps, hitches, etc. If you exceed your purchases length at check-in, you will be fined and required to purchase additional space to accommodate your overage.

Tip: Measure twice, purchase once. Know your exact total length from front bumper to trailer door when open.

NEW for 2026

Swap site fees for 2026 have been raised $10, to $70 per site.

During the 2026 Swap Presale, you are ONLY purchasing your sites.

RV Permits and wristbands will not be available during presale.

and will become available for purchase in mid June.

You will be notified via email in June with instructions to purchase Swap Extras.

When you access the site, you will be prompted to put in the number of sites you are eligible for. Please note that the system will not allow you to cart additional sites then what you are eligble for.

**As noted above, you are ONLY purchasing your sites at this time. All extras like RV Permits and Wristbands will be on sale in Mid June once all swap sites have been sold out. You will receive notification when those go on sale.

Remember that your Membership ID needs to be entered in ALL CAPS!

ADMISSION

Bring your Swap Tickets with you at check-in.

You may:

Download it to your device ahead of time.

Print a copy.

Bring a physical mailed version.

Tickets are non-transferable.

The purchaser's name must match the person entering the Swap Gate.

VEHICLE POLICY

No vehicles are allowed into Swap without items to sell.	All vehicles and trailers will be measured at check-in. You must pre-purchase enough space to accommodate ramps, doors, etc.	If your setup exceeds your reserved space, you'll be fined $100 and be required to purchase more space.

All vehicles in your group must arrive together. If someone walks in later than Friday, you must meet them at the gate.	Vehicle movement is prohibited from Saturday morning until after 6pm.

SWAP GATE HOURS

(FRIDAY):

IF YOU LEAVE THE GROUNDS OVERNIGHT:

7:00am-10:30pm

No early arrival. If you arrive Thursday night, you will be turned away by police.

You must enter by 10:30pm Friday or

10:00pm Saturday.

To re-enter Saturday or Sunday morning, your vehicle must be in line by 6:30am Saturday or 7:30am Sunday.

All Swappers must complete a

Minnesota ST-19 form.

You may email it in advance or

bring a hard copy to the gate.

No loud music or disruptive activity.

WRISTBANDS REQUIRED

Everyone in your group must wear a Swap Wristband.

These are not the same as

spectator wristbands. Make sure the correct ticket type is purchased.

Swap Wristbands can be

pre-purchased online at a discounted rate.

Swap Wristbands can be purchased at the box office ONLY with the Swap License Holder present.

*Members of the group will not be allowed to purchase a Swap Wristband on their own.

PERSONAL VEHICLES & MOBILITY

No operation of ATVs, UTVs, golf carts, or similar vehicles at any time unless you have and authorized Hay Days Handicap Sticker AND a Driver Wristband.

No operation of 1- or 2-wheel vehicles (including bikes, dirt bikes, etc)

under any circumstances.

Unauthorized vehicles found roaming the grounds will be impounded

by the Chisago County Sheriff and released Sunday after the event,

subject to a fee.
