2026 July Mid-Month Membership Update | | Find all the upcoming events for our Chamber Members here! | | On behalf of the Bourbon Capital Alliance, our partner distilleries and key stakeholders, I'd like to sincerely thank this community for stepping up and representing Bardstown in such incredible fashion during our third annual National Bourbon Week this past June. This eight-day celebration of bourbon and Bardstown brought thousands of guests to our hometown, Nelson and surrounding counties. Preliminary data shows guests from 37 unique states, as well as Canada and Puerto Rico. 70% of partner distillery bookings during the week were from outside of Kentucky. Many of our guests traveling in from out of state attended multiple events spanning several days, meaning that they secured lodging in and around Bardstown, ate in our restaurants, frequented our bars and bustling downtown. That economic impact is vital to our small town and family-owned businesses. We could not be more grateful to all of our local establishments who contributed to National Bourbon Week. Thank you! | | Old Kentucky Home Federal Credit Union | | African American Heritage Museum | | The Bardstown-Nelson Co African American Heritage Museum will continue it's Saturday Library Series on Saturday, July 18th at 12 noon. The subject this month will be "Black Business Entrepreneurs in Bardstown". Guest panelists will be Ronnie Ford with Ronnie's Custom Cleaning, Greg Rogers with Uncle Spoony's, Robbie Maddox with Robbie's Mowing and Darlene Croom with Darlene's Beauty Shop. These entrepreneurs have been in business for over 20 years and will share their many experiences. This event is open to the public! | | |
