Registrations continue to be accepted for the 2026 PEDA Fall Conference, taking place in Gettysburg this October!
One of the many sessions we're pleased to bring to you is Striking the Rural Growth Balance: Preservation as Strategic Growth, a general session that will be moderated by Judy Morley, Ph.D., Executive Director of Seminary Ridge Museum & Education Center (pictured to right). Despite growth and preservation often being seen as competing priorities, this panel will highlight how land preservation, planning and partnerships can be used as intentional economic development tools and attendees will leave with practical strategies to align conservation with economic development and position rural communities for long-term success.
