Ongoing Formation Circles - Spring 2026
with Sister Chioma Ahanihu, SLW
Drawing from Sister Chioma’s recent book, Religious Women as Global Migrants to the United States, these Circles offer a reflective, conversational space for women and men religious to engage questions of spirituality, mental health, and vocational identity in an increasingly global and intercultural Church.
Each 90-minute session includes prayer, brief input, small-group dialogue, and large-group sharing.

Navigating Individual and Communal Grief in Intitial and Lifelong Formation
with Sister Mary Pat Garvin, RSM, PhD
This two-day virtual workshop explores how individuals and congregations navigate grief—personal and communal—amid losses such as the death of members, closing of ministries, transitions in mission, and significant vocational decisions. Drawing on theology, spirituality, and psychology, participants will reflect on healthy and holy ways to accompany grief and notice God’s graced presence in these experiences.
