Christmas is right around the corner, but before we get too busy, it’s time to start thinking about regional convention and contest 2026. It may seem early, but before we know it, May will be here! Regional convention dates are April 30– May and will be once again held at the Pickering Casino and Resort in Pickering, Ontario.

carefully and ensure your competing quartets receive a copy! This has been sent to chorus leadership, but CCLs, please feel free to share with all your members, as it is great information for everyone to have. Let us know if you have any questions! Also, for all CCLs, please watch your inbox for information about a zoom meeting happening on Sunday, December 14 at 10:00 am.
Most forms are ready and can be accessed under Events > Convention on the Region 16 website. We will send another eBlast out once new forms have been added. You are encouraged to regularly visit the Convention page on the website. Clicking on the red titles at the top will bring you to the appropriate section. Live documents can be accessed by clicking on the document name.
Important Deadlines
Sweet Adelines International will be opening contest registration in December - we will provide you with a link in a subsequent eBlast. All regional deadlines are set for January 23, 2026, in order for us to meet our contractual deadlines with the hotels. Please feel free to use forms 10_Registration List Work Sheet and 11_Rooming List Work Sheet to start gathering your information. Note that these are not to be submitted – they are working tools, and it is up to you whether you use them or not. As with all forms, the 2026 MASTER-Housing and Registration File spreadsheet is due by January 23, 2026. The 2026 MASTER- Housing and Registration Form will be emailed to all CCLs no later than December 10, 2026, and will include instructions on how to add new members.
