Be a Voice for Change!
We only have a few spots left for VBCF's 2026 State Breast Cancer Advocacy Day on January 29 at the State Capitol in Richmond! Spend the morning learning how the legislative process works, connecting with fellow advocates, and meeting directly with state lawmakers about issues that matter to people impacted by breast cancer. No advocacy experience is needed—your voice and perspective are what make the difference.
VBCF will provide a virtual pre-Advocacy Day briefing, light refreshments, recognition on the House or Senate floor (if schedule allows), and an optional lunch following the day’s activities. Transportation from the VBCF Richmond office is available, though the bus is currently full; participants may still attend by driving themselves to the General Assembly. A limited number of travel scholarships are available for advocates outside the Richmond metro area.
Registration closes on Friday, January 16. Questions? Contact Kirsta Millar, Director of Policy, at kirsta@vbcf.org.
