Hi Everyone!
My name is Asher Neumann, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the Meet Director for the 2026 TYR CCS National Championship swim meet. I am currently in my 4th year at NC State studying Mechanical Engineering. I have been a part of College Club Swimming since my first semester at NCSU and have been to all of the national competitions in the last 3 years. I’m very excited to be a part of this meet.
This year, NC State Club Swim is excited to host nationals at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, from Friday to Sunday, April 10-12 with pre-meet warmups available on Thursday, April 9. The GAC serves as one of the premier pools in the country, regularly hosting NCAA, YMCA, and ACC Championships, and is no stranger to large-scale meets.
The meet packet has been released and is available for viewing on the 2026 Nationals page. It includes the event schedule, NQTs, registration procedures, entry fees, and other important information. Please take time to thoroughly review the information with your club leadership, as many changes are being implemented as a direct result of the 2025 Nationals Exit Survey.
We will be hosting the first Nationals Town Hall on Tuesday, October 28 at 8 PM ET to further discuss the changes to this year’s meet and answer your questions. The meeting will be recorded as usual, but we strongly recommend at least one representative from your team attend - come prepared with any questions so all attendees can get the most out of the live Q&A opportunity.
To make your travel and accommodation plans easier, we’ve partnered with several hotels located near the pool. A list of these hotels can be found HERE. This page will be updated with additional hotels throughout the season, so be sure to check back before finalizing your reservation. I would strongly encourage you to book through these links as they provide a special rate for CCS teams attending the meet!
When booking flights, consider Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), which is just a 15-minute drive from the pool. If flights from GSO don’t work, both RDU (Raleigh) and CLT (Charlotte) are located just over an hour from Greensboro and have a variety of options.
If you have family or friends who will be attending the meet and are interested in serving as a meet official, we invite them to complete the Application to Officiate and contact the meet referee with any questions.
Spectator ticket information is included in the meet packet, and tickets will be available for presale starting March 9. Please share this information with your team and encourage them to tell their family and friends. Tickets will be available for presale only, as in past years. A link to purchase tickets will be provided/posted on the CCS website in the spring.

We can’t wait to see you swim at the GAC!
Best,
Asher Neumann
