The Wyoming Mining Association (WMA) is accepting nominations for our annual awards program. We encourage all member and associate member companies to review the information provided below and submit your nominations as soon as possible!

2026 Peck Community Achievement Award Nominations - WMA is accepting nominations for the 2026 Peck Community Achievement Award. 

In 1983 the Wyoming Mining Association established the Peck Community Achievement Award. The first recipient was Wyoming State Senator Roy Peck, posthumously, and the presentation was made to the members of his family at the WMA Convention in Cheyenne on June 18, 1983. 

This award is given annually to a representative of the Wyoming mining industry or an employee that provides services to the mining industry and will be presented at the 70th Annual WMA Convention in Gillette, Wyoming on June 4, 2026. Both WMA and Mining Associates of Wyoming (MAW) members may participate. Nominations are due Friday, May 1, 2026.

2026 Salesman of the Year Award Nominations - WMA is accepting nominations for the 2026 Salesman of the Year awards. There are three categories for the Salesman of the Year Awards. These are very important to our Mining Associates of Wyoming (MAW) members, so please take this opportunity to give them a pat on the back. The winners will be announced at the WMA Annual Dinner during the 70th Annual WMA Convention in Gillette, Wyoming on June 4, 2026. Nominations may be submitted by both WMA and MAW members.  Nominations are due Friday, May 1, 2026.
