Dear Kingdom Friend,
Because of you, lives are being changed in prisons, in Africa, and through television.
Every prayer, every broadcast, every testimony, and every soul reached through Virtual Church Media and Heart of America Prison Ministries is made possible by faithful partners like you—people who believe that the Gospel must go forth, even in the darkest places.
Throughout 2026, VirtualChurchMedia will continue its transformative journey, focusing on projects including translating audiobooks, videos, and teachings for the Latino community; providing expanded educational resources on tablets for inmates; and distributing solar-powered Bibles. These initiatives aim to make a positive impact on people's lives. By supporting these causes, VirtualChurchMedia strengthens its commitment to faith and community.
Update on our Transformative Journey
2026—Our Three Arms of Impact
- More than 1 million inmates in 1400 prisons across 48 states now have access to 50 of our Virtual Church spiritual growth resources on electronic educational tablets. This is made possible through our multi-year partnership with Edovo.org and a directed donation for this project. More about this powerful program and its impact is available in a short video here.
- In February 2026, we are adding 50 new ministry resources (100 total), including
33 in Spanish, to help nourish the hungry Latino inmates on their journey with Jesus in their primary language. Last month, using a directed donation, we translated eight of David's audiobooks into Spanish. We also made these available on our mobile app for our partners and their friends here.
- We will be adding these new VCM resources for this ongoing and ever-growing project, using a directed donation received on Christmas Eve. We are told this tablet program will grow to 2 million tablets in prisoners' hands by the end of 2026. If you want to learn more about this program or make a special donation, contact us at Info@VirtualChurchMedia.com or use the online giving link here.
Bibles to prisoners. Just before Christmas, our faithful volunteers gathered to pack, label, and ship another 100 bonded leather-bound study Bibles to prisoners on our waitlist through our sister ministry, Heart of America Prison Ministries.
In December 2025, we accompanied Bill Corum of Prison Power Ministries to Crossroads Correctional Center in Missouri and ministered to 250 inmates. Rare footage from behind bars is available on our website, including the men joyously singing "Go Tell It on the Mountain." This footage was authorized by the warden and the inmates, who signed waivers, and was taken during the special Christmas service.
In this video, our ministry partners, Bill Corum and team, share briefly after the prison ministry visit here.
Africa Crusades—In October/November, our Beans, Rice, and Jesus Christ program reported that thousands gave their hearts to Jesus during our three-week Gospel crusades with our Evangelist Israel Aggrey and his team of thirty in the rural, unchurched areas of Nigeria, reaching 26 villages with God's love, food provision, and the miracle-working power of God. This was made possible by directed donations for the crusade and by a variety of givers who helped pay for transportation to and from 13 of the villages. Evangelist Aggrey highlights the powerful impact of 85,000 souls impacted in a short video.
Jesus Film Project Solar Powered Backpacks.
The Jesus Film Project equips field teams with portable equipment designed to show the Jesus film in places without reliable electricity—often all packed into a backpack with solar charging capability:
- These backpacks include a projector, screen, sound system, battery, and solar panels, enabling a worker to reach villages or remote areas with the gospel without external power.
- The setup is lightweight (~17–43 lbs, depending on the kit), provides hours of use on a single charge, and is powered by sunlight.
In 2026, we will purchase two Jesus Film solar-powered backpacks to evangelize the remaining villagers who were unable to attend the crusade. These reusable units cost $2,500 each and reach a large number of villagers in their native languages. We are simultaneously purchasing solar-powered audio Bibles in the local languages of villages to disciple new followers of Jesus. In these villages, only about 20 percent can read or write, and the most effective way to reach and teach them is through video and audio Bibles. Our total cost for this project is $11,000. We currently have commitments totaling $7,500 and need an additional $7,500 to complete this purchase. You can help support this soul-winning and discipleship project here.
We currently broadcast weekly to the United States, Africa, and the Middle East on both cable (56 million homes in the US) and on satellite (more than 100 million homes internationally). You can view our broadcast live on Tuesdays at 9:30 AM Pacific, 10:30 AM Mountain, 11:30 AM Central, and 12:30 PM Eastern Time. An archived episode is available here.
Again, thank you for your prayers and partnership to help us share God's love around the world! God bless you and your family in 2026 with household salvation and every need met. "My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19). And by God's promise, we stand together for your children to be saved. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your household shall be saved." (Acts 16:31).
God Bless, Dr. David and Joanna Hairabedian
